Drumore Estate was designed by architect Robert Rodes McGoodwin and built in 1937/38.   Occupied in 1938 by local newspaper magnate, John F. Steinman. Drumore Estate offers a unique blend of natural unspoiled beauty with tranquil, formal fountain gardens and unobstructed vistas across the beautiful Susquehanna River Valley. The 70 acre property includes a magnificent 16,000 square foot Georgian inspired home surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. The estate is located in Lancaster County in Martic Township, Pennsylvania which is about 11 miles from Lancaster City.
